Sources and evidence assessment
A citation does not automatically make a claim certain. We assess what the study measured, who was studied, the uncertainty of the result and whether it applies to the user context being discussed.

Source priority
For broad effect claims, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, consensus statements and official guidance are preferred. A single study may be useful but is not treated as the final answer for an entire field.
- Title, authors, publisher and year are recorded when available.
- DOI or PMID identifiers are retained when available.
- Evidence type is an editorial classification, not an automatic truth score.
- Access dates may be shown for changing web sources.
Evidence and practical recommendations
Research may show an average association or effect in a controlled setting. A practical recommendation combines that evidence with the user’s goal, experience, schedule, equipment and recovery. It is labelled as a recommendation rather than a direct command from a study.
Communicating uncertainty
When evidence is conflicting, indirect or weak, this is stated. Treeniverstas does not fill evidence gaps with confident wording.
